There are 9 x Carbon Filters in this model. All 9 should be replaced at the same time.
Replace these filter every year. If you cut a lot of acrylic you may need to replace more frequently. If you are refilling the canisters with our replacement active carbon rather than replacing them, then you should wear a mask and ideally a PAPR as you should not inhale the dust/particles trapped in the barrels so please take care. The barrels are connected to a tray. Simply slide the tray out and then you can unbolt each barrel independently to refill. There are 3 screws that hold the top on. Remove those to remove the top. Put some tape over the center hole. Put on your PPE and fill the canister uniformly. Each canister holds 1.5kg of active carbon. Please call if you need additional assistance.
