Replace this filter every 6 months. If you cut a lot of acrylic you may need to replace more frequently. If you are refilling the tray with our replacement active carbon rather than replacing it, then you should wear a mask and ideally a PAPR as you should not inhale the dust/particles trapped in the old carbon so please take care. Simply slide the tray out and then you can replace the active carbon within. Put on your PPE and fill the tray uniformly. The tray holds 4kg of active carbon.
