At Apple Air Filtration Systems we are all about helping people. Along side of our support to charities, air purifier donations and helping local community we are now involved with the Sleepbus program. Such a wonderful organization that supplies homeless people with a safe comfortable place to sleep on this modified bus. I am one of the many volunteer drivers who takes the bus from the depot and puts it into position for the night crew.

Announcing the release of our new USA Export Model Freedom Series
Early in 2024 we were tasked to provide a cost effective solution to the USA market whereby customers with laser engravers could safely back vent inside the room. Our USA distributor JER Custom Designs, explained in the heat of summer or cold of winter that customers did not want to pump expensive heating and cooling air outside. So our MD Gary Chapman set about making a new design. After 4 months or trials and testing we are pleased to introduce the new Freedom Series into both the USA and Australian markets. In Australia we have started installing the Freedom 1000 series with customers being very pleased with the new model. We can consistently demonstrate in every setting a PM2.5 count of 2ppm or less, which is cleaner than fresh air. We have 2 models available at present being The Freedom 1000 & Freedom 2000 for larger or multiple lasers. The full range of product is available on our web site. New SmartAir distribution partnership announcement.
On the 29th of April 2024 AppleAir Filtration Systems Australia and SmartAir signed a distribution agreement seeing us become a distribution partner in Australia. SmartAir was founded by Thomas Talhelm in 2013 who wanted to make air purification less expensive for people thus allowing them to improve their air quality and quality of their health. Today 10 years later the company is run by CEO Paddy Robertson, pictured enclosed. SmartAir is a Certified B Corporation who’s business principals align with our own making this a perfect relationship. The full range of product is available on our web site. New business partnership with Global Air Purification Manufacturer MayAir Announcement
Last week saw the Apple Air Team in Shanghai, Nanjing and Shenzhen. In Shanghai we were checking out new products at a large expo and staying up to date with current trends in air purification technologies.In Nanjing we were invited to check out the facilities of our new business partner MayAir. MayAir are a very large Malaysian based company with 7 impressive large manufacturing plants. The pictures enclosed show some of the labs within the facility. We have decided to work with MayAir in their Medical purification side because they do it so well. All of their filtration systems we are now selling are fully tested, certified and compliant for use in medical settings. I’ll have the details up on the website in the next few days.In Shenzhen we have partnered with a large OEM manufacturing company. This company makes a range of home/office/medical air purification equipment, and we will be distributing and servicing their equipment, under our Apple Air brand, through out Australia. This company is not a small manufacturing firm. I can tell you that the filters from these machines all go through thorough testing and certification before they are sent to us. No cameras were allowed in the labs so I can’t show you but it was an impressive facility. The cost of the lab was 30Million dollars alone and they employ specialized people to run the specialized equipment. So, we know when customers purchase our machines, they are getting the very best air purification protection possible.

Matthew from MW Laser joins our team looking after the Victorian market

Looking at the differences between 2513-E1 & PA-1500
Recently our customer purchased our AA2513 filtration system from us for his laser. The customer explained he had a competitor filter system, as show in the photo, that wasn’t working well and the cost of replacement filters was making it difficult to make profit. The machine he has we see often. Dealers love selling them as they return good profit when customers have to change filter. If we look at the differences between the 2 machines we can see straight up the competitor has only 3 filter modules. We have 23 filter modules. The customer reports that the filters in his old PA-1500 he had to replace the bottom filter every 2 months at a cost of $676.91. He told us replaces the top filter every 5 month at a cost of $636.65 The frequency increases if you are a higher production workshop rather than a home based hobby business.
The total cost per year for the client was $5,472.09 for this client which was heavily impacting his bottom line profits. Our AA2513-E1 as shown here, with a refurbishment program costs a total of $786 for the year. Our smaller models cost even less.
So if we look at the cost of replacement filters between the 2 models over 5 years the customer, had he kept his old PA-1500 filter would have cost him $27,360.45. With his new Apple Air filtration system he will spend just $3,930. That’s a cost saving of $23,430.45 that the customer will keep in his bank. That’s a lot of money to give away on filters when you have other options. All of our machines come standard with 2 year warranties upgradable to 5 years. The price of these 2 machines mentioned here is very similar.
So its important to look beyond the price of the machine and consider the total running costs, performance and ownership costs as well as warranty, service and support and effectiveness of the product. That’s why we believe our system is the best on the market. Its your money so look at the bigger picture. Do your homework before you buy any filter and what ever you do take care of your health and of those around you.
Cleaning Filter 1.
Cleaning tip: Our customer just cleaned the 2 filters on the right side with Sards Wonder Soap and they cleaned up a treat. These will need replacing after 1 year but are effective with cleaning for the next 12 months. The ones on the left are how they looked before cleaning.
